Nina Lediani, born on 21 October 1998 in Georgia, is a young woman with a passion for the performing arts. Since almost all members of her family are artists, musicians, honoured dancers from Georgia, it is as if art is a genetic code for her.

At the age of 6 she started her first steps in art – at the Academy of Ballet and the Academy of Music (piano faculty) in Tbilisi. At the ballet academy she studied different styles of dances: classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, waltz, Georgian dance. At the age of 12 she became a laureate of numerous competitions and concerts. This multifaceted professional training is complemented by her passion for music, piano, singing and acting. At the age of 15 she expressed her interest in singing and entered the ‘Domchor’ in the German town of Fulda, where she studied the music of many great composers. At the age of 17 he moved to Barcelona. His passion was always the stage. That is why he enrolled at the Superior School of Dramatic Art (Eolia) where he trained professionally in the faculty of acting. She began her first steps in Barcelona singing in the choir “Novaura”. She performed numerous concerts at the Palau de Música and the Gran Teatre del Liceu. As a performer, her first project was at the Grec Festival with the play “Le llaman Mar” by Constanza Brncic (2016). In 2022, Nina was invited to the Hollywood celebrity programme “The celebrity experience”, where she did personal training with American stars such as Jonathan Goldstein, Adrian R’mante, Tanya Chisholm, Brian Sutherland. In 2023 she attended Rose Bruford University in London through an exchange programme, where she strengthened her knowledge in physical theatre and studied techniques such as: Grotowski, Meyerhold, Kantor. In London she performed with great success in plays “50 minutesuntil” and “digit[all] system”, directed by Hayley Dawn Hill. In 2023, Nina made her first own short film “The Mind” which was directed, acted and edited by herself and in the same year the short film was selected at Tallinn Film Festival.

In 2024, she worked with director Aleix Fauró and playwright Pablo Ley on the play “Alicies”. She was also hired as an actress in the theatre company “Human Space Company”, where she performed with great success in the play “The Journey”.

One of Nina’s hobbies is learning languages. Having lived in different countries since the age of 14, she learned languages such as: Spanish, German, English, Catalan, Russian at a high level. Her mother tongue is Georgian.

Nina is still working on the play “Asterion’s Skin” which will be premiered in 2025.
