Xavier Nicaise (Brussels, 1968). He has studied at Oxford Brookes University (BA Honours in Business studies, 1992) and has worked in Madrid, Paris, Bilbao, Hamburg and Brussels. He graduated in Dramatic Arts in 2015 at Fernando Griffell’s “La Casona” drama academy in Barcelona and has furthered his training at La Factoria DiMo (clown), El Timbal (film actor) and el Estudi Laura Jou.
En 2013, he shot his first short film “Agua embriagadora” directed by Daniel Noblom and rehearsed with famed Catalan director Cesc Gay. Since then, Xavier has participated in over 100 audiovisual projects.
In 2017 he worked in the German series “Der Barcelona Krimi” by Oscar-winning director Jochen Alexander Freydank (Dreamtool, Das Erste). In 2018, Xavier played Chef Canet in the long-running Spanish series “Amar es para siempre” (DiagonalTV, Antena3). More recently, he collaborated in “C’est toi”, a feature film by Roser Texidó and Jaume Fargas.
