Hamza Aslani was born in Carabanchel, Madrid, on April 28, 2003, where he grew up and spent part of his childhood until, at the age of 11, he moved to London with his family in search of a better life. There, he continued his studies and also began his career as a football player, reaching professional level at just 16 years old, which gave him a highly disciplined mindset from a very young age.
In 2017, he returned to Spain to continue pursuing his path as a footballer, but a serious injury took him away from the sport. Not knowing what to do with his life, he decided to aim high once again and try his luck in the world of acting, as it had always been something that caught his attention since his first theatre class in secondary school.
In 2020, he joined the school Work in Progress, where he trained as an actor with playwright Darío Facal for two years. Before finishing his training, in 2022 he made his fiction debut as one of the protagonists of the seventh and final season of the series Servir y proteger, playing the character Ismail Larachi.
After that, he also worked on the series Santuario, for Atresplayer, and on Dime tu nombre, for Prime Video, both pending release. This past year, he filmed two feature films in which he plays key characters with significant weight in the story—very different from each other and highly challenging.
Hamza is of Moroccan descent, which is why he speaks Arabic, as well as English and Spanish with complete fluency, and he is currently learning French. He is passionate about sports, especially football and boxing.
