David Comrie is an actor and singer born in Panama. During his teenage years, he moved with his family to Canada, where he began his artistic training.

With over 25 years of experience in musical theatre, he has performed in productions such as Les Misérables, West Side Story, and The Lion King, where he played Mufasa for six years in Madrid. He also portrayed the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin The Musical, adding this iconic role to his extensive stage career.

In television, he has appeared in series such as 30 Monedas, directed by Álex de la Iglesia; Money Heist (La Casa de Papel); Fuerza de Paz; Entrepreneurs, by Pantomima Full; and La Fortuna, directed by Alejandro Amenábar.

In film, he has appeared in Upon Entry (La Llegada), directed by Sebastián Vázquez and Alejandro Rojas; Control Room, directed by Luiso Berdejo; and the animated feature Mariposas Negras, winner of the Goya Award for Best Animated Film.

He trained at Centro del Actor and Estudio Corazza, and furthered his studies in New York and London. He continues to develop his career across film, television, and stage projects.
