Rita El Jebari was born in Larache, a small coastal town in Morocco. A few days after her birth, she was brought to Barcelona, ??where she grew up with her family. Being raised between two very different cultures has given her the benefits of being a native trilingual. Soon she realized that with her strong religious culture and a Father Imán, she would not have the option to follow her dreams and that she had to follow her artistic path.
At the age of 17 she became independent and began her studies of fine arts at the art school of La Massana. Shortly after, she continued to train at the Timbal Theater School in Barcelona. She joined the group Animaso performing in the streets. At the same time, she discovered Afro-Caribbean dance and studied 4 years with the best specialist in the field in Barcelona; Alejandra Pavón. While living on the island of Menorca she met Farah Ahmed, an actress nominated for the Goya and created together the musical Bent Bledi. In 2015 she is selected for a Finnish TV production against Islamophobia, FCA “Give a reason to stay”. Her passion for cultural enrichment has made her travel and live in more than 20 countries in Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe. Traveling allowed her to adopt her fourth fluent language; English. Always living her passion for singing and composing, she created two own albums with prestigious musicians such as Marina Albero and Chano Dominguez. She continues producing music with several international producers. She is being active on stages and she also keeps on forming herself as an actress.
